ほうじょうさんの家の庭の手入れ

庭が津波で傾いているので、土を入れたりして庭を手入れします。

宿泊施設からの夕焼け

オールハンズは、アメリカの団体で災害地域に入っていき地元の人を助けている団体です。
日本では大船渡に拠点を置いて、災害直後から１１月１２日まで活動予定です。
活動内容としては、津波で被害にったいえの泥かき、家の修復、仮設住宅への物資の配達、陸前高田で災害地域から見つかった写真の洗浄、溝にたまったガレキの撤去などです。

All hands is a group which has been helping in disaster area all around the world. They set up the base at ohunato since right after Tsunami hit Japan and
they are going to work till Nov 12th.
They have been working for gutting the house which got the damage from tsunami, repairing houses, distributing the things to the temporary houses, cleaning the photos that have found in the mud in rikuzentakata and ditching etc...
毎日っグループに分かれて各地域に配属されます。
We have been working in small group everyday.

今日はおばあさんの家に庭の手入れに行きました。
この方が貸していた家の女性は家ごと流されて碁石という１０ｋｍくらい離れた場所で見つかったそうです。
おばあさんの家は、津波で１回は全部浸水してしまいましたが、いえを改装してながれてしまったつちを積み上げて平らにしました。また土が流れ出さないように板を張りました。


We went to maintain the Garden in one of the house in Ohunato. Her house was not destroyed, but the 1st floor was all fulfilled with water so she fixed her house afterward.
But the house which she had rent was totally destroyed and the person who lived that house was found in the area called Goishi which is about 10km away.
