Ｉn ancient time , Mt.Aso erupted and the lava which flowed from it created takachiho gorge.

there is kagura performance everynight in takachiho shrine from mid Nov to Feb for appreciate the harvest to yaoorozu gods.

it is so sacred traditional event.

the view was from the top of mt.sobo.
thank to god i made to come down...it was totally dark and foggy on the way back... how creepy was that..
